To strengthen the child protection structures at school and barangay level, the project on protecting children against human trafficking conducted a learning session for Child Protection Committee from schools of Enerdino C. Coronel Baluno National High School and Talisayan National High School, together with the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children from Baluno and Talisayan.
The learning sessions were able to review the Child Protection Policies, Plans and Referral pathways of each CPC and BCPC member, with the discussion of RA 10364 on the Expanded law of Anti-human trafficking and latest updates of this issue.

March 17, 2022 Ms. Sherin Francisco from Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted a one day training on Marketing Strategy as part of the Social Economic Enterprise Development Program of KKI. Attendees were the women of the partner community or the "Mapwersa mujeres de Katilingban". This activity is part of the celebration of the women's month to help the women of the community not only to sustain their livelihood but to strategize their marketing plan and widen their knowledge in developing a successful business.

The Katilingban sa Kalambuan Org., Inc. (KKI) strongly believes that students and Child Protection Committee (CPC) members of schools can be of great help in reporting case/s of abuse and violence especially on trafficking of children and they can also become child-rights advocate in their respective schools. With this, an online learning a session on United Nation Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), Rights of the Trafficked Child and Republic Act 10364 were conducted with the students and Child Protection Committee (CPC) members of Pasonanca National High School, Mercedes National High School, Talon-Talon National High School, and Zamboanga National High School West-Rio Hondo Annex.
This two-year project is made possible by the support of U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) through the Partnership for Development Assistance in the Philippines Incorporated (PDAP)-Strength in CTIP project.

Katilingban sa Kalambuan Org., Inc. conducted a one day session on leadership and peace concept to 24 children and youth last February 24, 2022. This activity aimed to enhance the capacity of the child's group to protect themselves from abuses, violence and exploitation in their respection community and in the streets.
